Obituary of Clara MacKinnon

Clara Mae MacKinnon Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and friend, Clara MacKinnon, age 78, at Seaview Manor, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Glace Bay, she was the chosen daughter of the late Tom and Ester Burte. Clara is survived by her son, Brian (Brandi) MacKinnon, Sydney; daughter, Lisa (Blair) MacVicar, Glace Bay; her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Kelly MacVicar (Chris), Greenwood, Cory MacVicar (Rebecca) Glace Bay; her precious great granddaughter, Carlee. Besides her parents, Tom and Ester; she was predeceased by her birth mother, Martha Renie and her husband, Brian MacKinnon. Cremation has taken place. As per Clara’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. The family would like to thank the staff at Seaview Manor for their kindness and care given to our mother during her short time there.
