It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Cathy Arseneau, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 61. She was predeceased by her mother, Cecilia Payne, and her son, Corey Arseneau. Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Chico (Randy) Arseneau, her father, David Payne, her sisters Cindy (John) and Doreen, her daughter-in-law, Jenna Brydges, nephews David Scott (Kathleen), Travis, Catlin, Ryan, and niece Jennifer.
Cathy brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Her infectious smile, love for singing, and passion for dancing would light up every room she entered. Known for her heart of gold and unwavering willingness to help others, Cathy made countless friends throughout her life and will be remembered fondly for her vibrant spirit, her boundless generosity, and the love she shared with those around her.
Cathy dedicated her career to serving the public, touching the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In accordance with her wishes, a small service will be held with family at a later date. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society in Cathy's honor are welcomed and appreciated.
